Research

We conduct research on quantum many-body systems composed of numerous quantum mechanical degrees of freedom from a theoretical physics perspective. In particular, we focus on artificial quantum systems such as ultracold atomic gases, which are promising candidates for quantum computers and quantum simulators. Our goal is to uncover quantum phenomena that have yet to be explored in conventional condensed matter systems, in collaboration with experimental groups. Additionally, we aim to discover novel concepts that will serve as the foundation of quantum technology by integrating quantum many-body theory with quantum information theory.
